Welcome to Killingly Public Library

Killingly Public Library, originally known as Bugbee Memorial Library, has been serving the informational and recreational needs of our diverse community since 1902. We strive to provide equal access, for all ages, to both traditional and electronic resources in order to enhance life-long learning, facilitate research, and encourage the on-going pursuit of knowledge. As Gail Carson Levine said, “A library is infinity under a roof.” Director Peter Ciparelli and the entire staff are dedicated to living up to Ms. Levine’s vision.

Science Magic-Boston Science Museum
Wednesday July 29th at 6pm.
How do magic tricks really work? This program investigates the science behind the “magic” of several classic magic tricks.
You might learn how to snatch a tablecloth without disturbing the items on top, make a balloon fireproof, and use electromagnetism to defy gravity. For the grand finale, our educator demonstrates how science can make it safe to lie down on a real bed of nails.

No Registration required. Best for ages 5 and up!
